About Alterations by Jacqueline Kay

Alterations by Jacqueline Kay’ opened in St Neots in July 2001 when Jacqueline’s dressmaking business outgrew her lounge. Jacqueline has been dressmaking since she was a child. In 11 years, Jacqueline has built up a large customer base –  with many regulars, some who find her through recommendation and others who stumble upon the hidden, but very pink, shop in Fisher’s Yard St Neots.

Jacqueline undertakes any alteration, large or small, to Ladies & Gents Clothing. She also can make or alter curtains and other household items.  Alteration and re-styling of Wedding and Prom dresses are a speciality and you can be sure that your garment will be unique and beautiful.

Jacqueline works alone so you are guaranteed a very personal service. There is a large fitting room  and turn-around time is normally 14 days, although urgent jobs may be fitted in for a small extra charge. Details of our pricing structure can be found on the ‘terms and conditions’ page of this website.
